Pair on *any listed project — OSS or private — for free.

Only the teammate who lists a private (or non‑community) repo pays to host it.

*A “listed” repo means someone has added it to Tidalbase so that others can subscribe and pair on it. Listing a private repo triggers the plan fee; simply collaborating or subscribing never does.*
Our matching engine chooses which repo is worked on for every session. Once paired, you and your partner decide how you'll work together — e.g. Driver/Navigator, Ping‑Pong, or any method you prefer.
“Active” means a public repo with 100 + unique contributors and a steady stream of recent commits (no long periods of inactivity).
